Two Games PPD For Opening Day

The Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox season opener has been postponed due to bad weather in the Boston area.  That games joins the Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox opening day tilt in the postponement column.
There could be a couple more facing rescheduling before the day is over.

Ken Griffey Flip-Flops, Legacy Still ‘94 SNES Game

Well I’m glad that the Ken Griffey Jr. to the Atlanta Braves report fizzled out.  When even career Brave John Smoltz bolts town it’s a signal that the Braves are going in a different direction.  It will be much more self-fulfilling for Griffey to let his career fade in Seattle where it all began.

Brewers Sign Hoffman, Red Sox Agree With Smoltz

A couple of veteran pitchers will wear different jerseys for the first time in a long time next season.  The Milwaukee Brewers have signed all-time career saves leader Trevor Hoffman to be their closer.  And in an interesting development, John Smoltz is leaving Atlanta to join the Boston Red Sox.
